أرطغرل التاريخ الحقيقي

تكاد تطبق المصادر على ذكر قصة مرور أرطغرل ومحاربيه بجيشين يقتتلان وسط الجبال، أحدهما جيش تابع للسلطان علاء الدين السلجوقي والآخر تابع للأعداء (المغول أو الصليبيين)، وأن أرطغرل تدخل بجنوده لترجيح كفة المسلمين ضد خصومهم بعد أن كانت لصالح الأعداء، والبعض قال بأن علاء الدين نفسه كان على رأس هذا الجيش الذي أنقذه أرطغرل.
