ההרכב הוקם בידי המלחין והמעבד המוזיקלי רביב בן-מנחם בתחילת שנת 2012 ונקרא על-שמו. יחד עם בן-מנחם, חברים בהרכב גם אחיו, ניר בן-מנחם, ואלירן צור. ההרכב הוציא אלבום בכורה בשם "מה נותר מאלה", הכולל מחרוזות בנות 5-6 שירים כל אחת. המחרוזות באלבום הבכורה כוללות גרסאות כיסוי לשירים מז'אנר המוזיקה המזרחית שהתפרסמו בשנות ה-70 וה-80. גרסאות הכיסוי שבאלבום הן לשירים של זמרים מהזמר המזרחי כדוגמת חיים משה, דקלון, משה גיאת ואבנר גדסי, לצד שירים של משוררים כדוגמת חיים נחמן ביאליק ושאול טשרניחובסקי וזמרים כדוגמת צביקה פיק ויהורם גאון. האלבום זכה למעמד של אלבום זהב לאחר שנמכר בלמעלה מ-30,000 עותקים. עטיפת האלבום צולמה בכרם התימנים בתל-אביב כמחווה לזמרים מזרחיים רבים שנולדו וגדלו במקום.

Ensemble was founded by composer and musical arranger Raviv Ben - Menachem beginning of 2012 and was named - his name. Along with Ben - Menachem, Friends lineup brother, Nir Ben - Menachem and Eliran contact. Band has produced a debut album called "What remains of those" which includes strings girls 5-6 songs each. Strings debut album include covers of songs by genre Eastern music published in the 70s and 80s. Cover versions of the album are songs Mizrahi music singers like Haim Moshe, Palmetto, Moshe Giat and Avner Gadassi alongside poets such as Chaim Nachman Bialik and Shaul Tchernichovsky and singers like Zvika Pick and Yoram Gaon. The album won a gold record status after sold more than 30,000 copies. The album cover was taken in the Yemenite Quarter of Tel - Aviv as a tribute to many oriental singers were born and raised there.
