De MOOR app is ontwikkeld voor medewerkers van Nederlandse gemeenten en vormt een verlengstuk van toezicht en handhaving.
De MOOR app maakt het mogelijk dat gebruikers ter plaatse informatie over opbrekingen en werkzaamheden in de openbare ruimte van de gemeente waarvoor zij werken, kunnen signaleren en doorgeven. Vanaf
een smartphone of tablet is het mogelijk om een foto van een opbreking te maken en deze door te sturen naar de verantwoordelijke persoon voor toezicht en handhaving binnen een gemeente. De locatie
wordt visueel weergegeven op een kaart van Nederland en er vindt een online check plaats met het MOOR Platform® of op de bewuste locatie (map.moorwerkt.nl) de opbreking al bekend is.
De MOOR app maakt gebruik van GPS om de locatie van de melding te bepalen. Houd er rekening mee dat het doorlopend gebruik van GPS op de achtergrond ervoor kan zorgen dat de batterij van uw apparaat
sneller leeg kan raken.
