Ekocabs is building New Zealand’s first 100% electric taxi company. Operating within Wellington, EkoCabs is designed to enable environmentally conscious customers to move around the city with ease. Our driver commission rates are way fairer than most taxis and ridesharing companies in New Zealand.
Our service is second to none with easy-to-use-app, professional drivers and top of the line fleet.
Our payment system is convenient with no need to pay cash or punch in numbers on an Eftpos machine. Just register your credit/debit card details securely in the app and the payment can be deducted once your trip is completed. Once you arrive at your destination, use your app to authorise the payment, hop out and ‘Go easy’!
Still prefer cash or Eftpos? Sure thing! Our cabs are equipped with modern and secure Eftpos machines so you can pay on arrival and get a GST receipt for your records.
